Snow + Ice + Sun = Spring

12 photographs. We took a walk to the river today to enjoy the sunshine and see how much ice is left. There was plenty. The sky was clear, the sun was warm on our faces, and Zoe had a great time jumping in the ice covered puddles. The river looked worse than it was. Even though it looked like there were 'thin spots', the ice was still a few feet thick and the 'wet spots' were actually frozen puddles from previously warmer days. One of our neighbors stopped and let me take his snowmobile out for a spin! Hard to believe we've been here are winter and today was my first time driving a scooter this year.
